Ashland House of Prayer, Oregon

I have been serving along side of the Ashland House of Prayer, in Ashland, Oregon for nearly 9 months now! I can’t believe its even been that long! With coming into any ministry at its birthing stages it can often feel messy, and like you are barely making a dent, until you look at all He does when you turn around. My mind has been blown away by all the Lord did in this little house of prayer.

Ashland House of Prayer held 2 internships, one in which I had the honor to teach in. Several people encountered the Lord in new ways, committing to more of a life of prayer and in the realms of influence, whether they were students, house moms, had jobs, or were in between places.

Ashland House of Prayer also hosted a conference with guest speaker, Kirk Bennett, who is an international speaker building up small houses of prayer and praying groups, encouraging them to press in and finish the race! Within this time, the Lord unified the leadership of several churches in the efforts that night and day prayer will arise across the state of Oregon.

Ashland House of Prayer held a night with state abolitionist, in efforts to bring awareness to human trafficking. We showed Nefarious: Merchant of Souls (film I helped transcribe while on staff with Kansas City). Many local women shared testimonies that night, of their past as victims in this black market, and how Jesus spared them and broke in and saved them. Since then, there have been prayer meetings for the release of God’s justice to arise in that market of human beings, and God is answering. Since that evening, there was a man in Talent, Oregon and Grants Pass, Oregon who were selling women, was caught and justice is being given! Praise God!!

There is a team within the Ashland House of Prayer who are seeking to hear the Lord’s heart concerning how to prepare themselves and their church and community for times of disaster. I have had the honor to work along side of these ones, giving them all the tools I have acquired throughout the years. Not that I look forward to disaster or wish it upon anyone, but to be prepared is worth more than gold and silver, for when it sneaks upon you. Also, a major part of preparation, is knowing how to counsel traumatized hearts.

The Ashland House of Prayer has started classes that allow people to go deeper in the wisdom and knowledge of God through dealing with the issues of the heart. We are humans and we have a lot of brokenness, but there is one Man, named Jesus, who restores all things. I love the hunger in this community to the desire of being free, so they can be released and do everything they were called and created to do!

And most importantly, which is the heart beat of the ministry, is our prayer room. Ashland House of Prayer, has their own prayer room! God is raising up an army of men and women who are giving themselves to the adoration of praise and prayer, and intercession! It’s complete brilliance really! We are open almost every day of the week. We have live sets (filled with intercessors, musicians, and singers), and we have soaking hours where we web stream with Kansas City which is always live!

The Lord is opening up the door for even more events, classes, internships, and outreaches in the future. Even in the respects of Justice! As they happen, I will add them to the list so you can be in prayer for us, as we serve along side of Jesus in what he is doing!
